The Great British Spring Clean

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is backing a campaign to get half a million people out and about cleaning up their local communities during March 2017.
We are encouraging and supporting groups and individuals who want to 'do their bit' to help clear up the litter that blights our streets and parks.
We have invited all parish councils to join us and to arrange their own litter pick to help make a positive difference to your local community. Therefore if you are interested in getting involved, please contact your Parish Council, or you can contact the local authority directly. The local authority will support along the way by providing any extra equipment or advice that you might need. A Clean Neighbourhood Officer can also be available to advise and join in.
To take part in the campaign and set up you own clean up event please contact The Clean Neighbourhoods Team on 01455 255977 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org or to view events happening locally visit www.greatbritishspringclean.org.uk .
Remember, it doesn't matter whether you want to work in a team or on your own - every little bit counts and you can still take part. We will be asking volunteers to let us know how many bags of rubbish they have collected during the event so that we can publicise how effective the Great British Spring Clean has been in our area.
