The Government has issued a reminder that England is still an Avian Influenza Prevention Zone and that all bird keepers (including those with pet birds, commercial flocks or just a few birds in a backyard) must keep a close watch on them for signs of disease and maintain good biosecurity at all times.

Westfield Community Centre offers Covid vaccination transport

Westfield Community Centre is offering free transport for elderly and vulnerable people who do not have transport to attend a Covid-19 Vaccination Centre appointment.

The volunteer-run Westfield Community Centre Transport scheme is operating alongside a similar scheme by Hinckley & Bosworth Community Transport, in a bid to help as many people as possible receive their vaccination.

Theft of Mercedes Sprinter van (white) from Salisbury Road on the morning of 14/01/2021. The vehicle was taken with no entrance to the residential property at around 02:05 from the driveway.
