Police have given notification that on Monday 24th August between 1pm and 3.30pm a wide load will be travelling through Burbage towards the A5.
The vehicle will be under a Police escort.
People are asked to keep Church Street clear of parked vehicles during this time period to allow the load to travel through safely.

LIVE outdoor music performances will return to the bandstand in Argents Mead every Saturday throughout September.

Two new digital exhibitions will be showing at Atkins Gallery Online following the success of the 'Life in Lockdown' open exhibition which was held earlier this summer.

Leicestershire County Council is reminding people that a booking system remains in place at its waste and recycling sites across the county, including the one serving Hinckley & Bosworth, in Barwell.
The booking system enables social distancing to be maintained and avoids the build up of lengthy queues to access sites.

We received concerns regarding speeding in the village. You can report your concerns to https://www.speedorsafety.com/community
As a result of the feedback so far, we visited Featherston Drive, Coventry Road, Herald Way and Sapcote Road and the surrounding area. In total, out of around 700 vehicles across these locations, we monitored 5 vehicles speeding. These speeds ranged from 36Mph to 38Mph.

Amazon renew your subscription, SCAM
TV Licence Emails/calls, SCAM
These are just a few and there are many more. They are often old scams doing the rounds.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
Temporary parking restrictions are required on Bridge Road, Burbage for its entire length on both sides of the carriageway on the 3rd September 2020 for 2 days.
