Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on Lychgate Lane, Burbage, between Woodstock Close and Lychgate Riding School from 31st July 2020 for two working days.
It will mean that the road will be closed from Friday 31st July to Monday 3rd August 2020, inclusive.

Pupils across the borough are celebrating after an impressive performance against county schools in the first virtual School Games Summer Championships.

Police are warning work van owners in Burbage to be on their guard after a spate of thefts elsewhere in the borough.
There have been around 8 theft from work vans over the last few nights in the Market Bosworth area.
Entrance to the vans has been gained by damage to locks or cutting the side from the van.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order to close Sketchley Road, Burbage from the roundabout with Rugby Road to the entrance to the school from 27th July 2020 for up to four weeks.
The Order is to be implemented for public safety purposes, to allow Balfour Beatty on behalf of Cadent to carry out gas mains replacement work.

Six men have been sentenced at court for their parts in a public order offence in Burbage and an arson in Essex.
At Leicester Crown Court on July 2, the men, all of Blaby Road, Enderby, were sentenced as follows:
