Covid jabs for anyone aged 16 and over will be on offer at a drop in session at Hinckley Leisure Centre this Saturday, September 4, from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
The session will offer the Pfizer vaccine only, to anyone who has either not yet been vaccinated or who received their first vaccination at least eight weeks ago.
No appointment is necessary.

The session will offer mainly the Pfizer vaccine although there will be some availability of the AstraZeneca vaccine for second doses.

Residential Burglary on Far Lash sometime between 7th August and 19th August. Entry gained through the front door panel and exited via the back of the property. Borough residents are being warned of ongoing disruption to garden waste (brown lidded bin) collections due to continuing national shortages of HGV drivers.
While garden waste collections are still going ahead in all areas of the borough, the number of available HGV drivers remains limited, which is having an impact on garden waste collections.

On Thursday 26th August 2021 a high and wide load will be travelling from the A5 through Burbage towards Hinckley.
It will be under a Police escort and travelling between 11.30am and 1pm.
It would be appreciated if Church Street can be left clear of parked vehicles during this time to allow the load to travel through safely.

Sketchley Hill Primary School PTA is organising a Window Wanderland through Burbage, to run from November 6 to 14 this year.
