Latest Covid Vaccination Drop In Session

This Saturday 23rd October 2021 at Hinckley Leisure Centre - 10.00am to 12.00 noon.

This is for the Pfeizer vaccine only, no appointment necessery.

Anyone aged 16 years or over who has not been vaccinated or had their first vaccination at least 8 weeks ago is eligible to drop in and get vaccinated.

Burbage Christmas Market, stall inquiries welcome

The Parish Council will be celebrating Christmas in Burbage with a festive market on the evening of Friday November 26.

A road closure will be in place on Windsor Street from 3pm to 10.30pm on the day to allow for stalls and small fairground rides to be set up, with churches, pubs, businesses and community groups along the road and across the village joining in to offer extra festive attractions.

Sketchley Road closure scheduled from October 21

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a road closure on Sketchley Road between the junction with Rugby Road and the junction with Crossways on 21st October 2021 for up to 2 days.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to carry out carriageway patching and any other associated work to the highway.

In the early hours of the morning on Tuesday 12th October we received a call at around 04:25 regarding two suspicious persons shining torches into property/vehicles around Robinson Way. Officers attended and completed an area search, no one found in the area.
