Harmonic Voices concert for Ukraine

Burbage Community Choir, Harmonic Voices is to hold a Concert for Ukraine at Burbage Methodist Church on Wednesday 18 May at 7.30pm.

Donations are invited which will be forwarded to the British Disasters Emergency Committee, which will distribute funding to a network of organisations working in and around Ukraine, depending on where aid is most needed at any time.

Parkrun comes to Burbage

Parkrun comes to Burbage

Burbage now has a parkrun! Every Saturday morning at Hastings High School there is a timed 5K (just over three miles) walk, jog or run that everyone is welcome to participate in.

This project has been several years in the making and would not have been possible without the support of parkrun, Hastings High School and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.

We have had an incident this week in the Boyslade Road area where there has been a report of a resident being scammed out of money. Walk in covid vaccination sessions are being made available for adults and children* aged five and over at Hinckley Leisure Centre.

With no appointment required, sessions are taking place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week and then continuing every Wednesday to Friday throughout May.
